My name is Shivom Munjal, I am a 17-year-old student and photography has been my passion for many years. My father is a keen photographer and his passion has influenced me tremendously.

I recently did a course in New York with world famous photographer / instructor – Peter Turnley. Spending five days with him really changed the way I look at the world. In addition to this, I have taken a course with Leika Akademie’s- Craig Semetko and Robin Sinha. Even when I wasn’t carrying a camera, I started framing everything I was seeing and trying to determine which one would make a great picture and how I create the best shot possible. I began seeing the world in a very different manner, through different eyes.

In terms of genre, I enjoy street photography and sports photography. I love the spontaneity and unpredictability that the street brings and with food, I’m still learning the nuances of those perfect angles to capture the emotions and passion of sports.

Apart from photography I love travelling and am a huge football fan. I follow Bayern München extensively and I contribute to a fan page as well.
